Shawn DSouza

Shawn is enthusiastic to begin his role with SunBright Aquatics as a dedicated and certified Swim Instructor & Lifeguard. Currently enrolled at St. Joseph Secondary School, Shawn brings extensive experience in swimming instruction and lifeguarding from his time at Making Waves Swim School. With a National Lifeguard Certification and strong communication skills, Shawn is dedicated to ensuring water safety and instilling a passion for swimming in his students. His background in childcare and engagement, coupled with adaptability and flexibility, enables him to create engaging and effective lesson plans. As a Youth Leader in the Squires Program, Shawn has honed his leadership and organizational abilities, fostering teamwork and initiative. His volunteer work at St. Vincent de Paul and St. Francis of Assisi Soup Kitchen underscores his commitment to community service. Shawn’s accomplishments in public speaking and his numerous certifications further showcase his dedication to excellence. Eager to contribute to SunBright Aquatics’ mission, Shawn looks forward to helping his students build confidence in the water while continuing his educational journey.
