Marika Knapp

Marika is excited to be joining the SunBright Aquatics team this summer! She is currently going into her second year of Life Sciences at Queen’s University. Swimming has always been an important part of Marika’s life, as she grew up taking lessons with SunBright, where she developed her love for the sport. For the past three years, Marika has been lifeguarding and teaching swimming lessons, working with swimmers of all ages and skill levels. She was also actively involved in Best Buddies throughout high school and continues her involvement in university, reflecting her passion for building connections and creating inclusive, supportive environments. Marika loves being outdoors and staying active, especially during the summer months. She is excited to share her enthusiasm for swimming with her students and looks forward to helping them build confidence, develop their skills, and have fun in the water this season!
